The West Lafayette City Council convenes Monday night for its regularly monthly meeting, but at a different location.
Members will hold the meeting at West Lafayette High School to accommodate large expected crowds coming to discuss a controversial mixed-use project.
Faith Church is asking the council to sign off on a proposed $12-million community center along Northwestern Avenue.
The project has drawn the ire of some residents because the church is requesting $7-million dollars in tax exempt bonds.
